The target then experiences stimulation of his or her sensory nerves and motor nerves, resulting in strong involuntary muscle contractions. All this occurs in just under five seconds.

When someone becomes the target of a TASER, the resulting “shock” is caused by an uncontrollable contraction of the muscle tissue for the duration of electrical jolt. This person then becomes temporarily paralyzed and falls to the ground — regardless of pain tolerance or mental focus. The target experiences no lasting effects.

How far does a TASER shoot?

Tasers can shoot up to 15 feet for civilian models, and should ideally be deployed at least 7 feet from away the target in order to ensure that the darts are spread at least 6 inches a part at their points of contact. The maximum reach of most TASERS is about 35 feet.

Is a needle or a gun better to use when you get your cartilage pierced?

I’ve heard a lot about both. But which one one is really better to get? I know needle is better, but does it hurts more? and I’ve heard a gun is supposedly bad.

Which one should i use?

Guns rip a hole through your body using blunt force trauma and a dull piercing stud. Since they CANNOT be sterilized the risk of infection and the spread of disease is VERY high. On top of that, the people who use guns have zero professional training (maybe a 10 minute video IF they’re lucky) and therefore know nothing about proper piercing or aftercare.

Needles do not hurt more (in fact since they cause less trauma to the tissues the healing time is shorter and less painful as well). They are also safer since they CAN be sterilize and you are being pierced by a professional, not a high school drop out.
